Founded in 2021, 26AVIATION is the vision of Managing Director Sam Heather, a lifelong aviation professional with over 15 years of experience in the air charter sector.

Since its launch, 26AVIATION has executed a wide range of charter operations, with a core focus on AOG-response charters, ensuring grounded aircraft are operational as quickly as possible. Our expertise extends across Aerospace, Automotive, Humanitarian, Medical, Pharmaceuticals, Film, Music, Cold-Chain, and E-Commerce sectors. We also cater to high-net-worth clients with bespoke private jet charters and organise tailored group charters.

As a small, independent company, we pride ourselves on our highly flexible approach, global reach, and problem-solving skills. Our team is passionate about navigating the complexities of the charter sector and exceeding our clients’ expectations with creative, high-quality solutions.

SAM HEATHER

Managing Director

Sam lives and breathes air charter and has done for over 15 years. From emergency evacuations and disaster relief to ad-hoc charter and aircraft management for entrepreneurs, athletes, and music stars, he’s handled some of the most complex challenges the industry can throw at you. Having learnt his trade across the full spectrum of aircraft ranging from small turboprops to the legendary AN225, his reputation is built on personality, precision, and deep industry knowledge.

As founder of 26AVIATION, Sam combines business acumen with a hands-on approach, mentoring his team in the art of solutions-focused aviation.

Outside of running a high-pressure charter business, Sam’s other full-time commitment is being emotionally tethered to Arsenal FC, experimenting with overly ambitious cooking recipes, and regularly trying to stay calm after yet another online chess ambush by an 8-year old.

Diana Lasso

Time-Critical Logistics Executive

Born and raised in Ecuador, Diana brings an unshakable calm and laser-sharp focus to the world of time-critical logistics, skills that come in handy when you’re arranging shipments that can’t afford to be even a minute late. Whether it’s NFOs or OBC’s, she handles every challenge with precision, energy, and a first-class approach..

A proud Hispanic, Diana says dancing runs through her veins, though she assures us this doesn’t extend to celebrating our on-time deliveries. She’s also a lover of green plantain in all its glorious forms, was once a child prodigy violinist (references still pending), and holds the office record for the most out-of-focus pictures taken on a company trip.
